I've heard similar installations taking much longer. Because of problems we have had with previous installers I stayed home to observe and inspect the installation. A short installation time means a lot to me since I have my own consulting business and every hour I spend away from my business results in lost revenue. Based on my experience in and around the commercial construction industry, I was quietly maintaining a punch list which I would go over with installers when the job was nearly complete. Much to my delight your crew took care of all these items with out me saying a word or showing them the list. They were also very careful with our furniture.
We did our initial shopping for carpet and vinyl at the original "Do it yourself store". To be honest with you they had a lower installed price on both. We decided to have them install the vinyl. Thank God we didn't have them put the carpet in. The vinyl installation started before that of the carpet. We are still trying to get the job done right. The personnel at the store are very nice to work with however, the installers are rude and careless. You get what you pay for.
